What a Friend Is

A friend is someone that tells you what you're thinking, saving you the trouble of telling them.
A friend is the person that you take with you when you want to get away from everyone and be alone. A friend is the one who makes you hate goodbyes, makes you love hellos, and seems to melt the time between the two.
A friend is someone who sees all the best stuff in you, but isn't ashamed of helping you bear the worst.
A friend, when you get right down to it, is someone that makes you want to love Jesus.

Ein Freund ist jemand, der dir sagt, was du denkst, er erspart dir die Schwierigkeiten, die Gedanken erzählen zu müssen.
Ein Freund ist die Person, die du mitnimmst, wenn du vor allem und jedem davonrennst und allein sein willst.
Ein Freund ist jemand, der dich dazu bringt, Abschiede zu hassen, Begrüßungen zu lieben und der dafür verantwortlich ist, dass die Zeit zwischen den beiden schmilzt.
Ein Freund ist jemand, der das Beste in dir sieht und nicht davor zurückschreckt, mit dir das Schlechte zu ertragen.
Ein Freund, wenn man es zusammenfasst, ist jemand, der dich dazu bringt, Jesus zu lieben.
